1. About Velzo
Velzo connects clients with verified beauty and wellness professionals (“Vendors”) who provide on-demand services such as grooming, spa, skincare, and makeup. Velzo acts as a digital marketplace, not as a direct service provider.
All services are rendered by independent vendors who operate under their own professional responsibility.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Velzo. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
3. Account Registration
To book or offer services, you must create a Velzo account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account.
Velzo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behavior.
4. Bookings and Payments
Bookings can be made directly through the Velzo website or mobile app.
Payments are processed securely via Paystack and other approved gateways.
Velzo may support cash after service or partial payment options, depending on location and service type.
By making a booking, you agree to the total amount displayed, including service and platform fees.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Clients: You may cancel a booking before the professional begins service. Cancellations made too close to appointment time may attract a small fee.
Vendors: Professionals who fail to honor confirmed bookings without valid reason may face account suspension.
Refunds: If a service is canceled or not delivered as agreed, Velzo will review the situation and, where applicable, process a refund through the original payment method.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
All vendors on Velzo must:
Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and hygiene standards.
Use only safe and approved beauty or wellness products.
Respect client privacy and property at all times.
Velzo reserves the right to verify, suspend, or remove any vendor who violates these standards.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate booking details and safe, accessible locations for service delivery.
Treat professionals with respect and fairness.
Refrain from any behavior that may endanger or harass service providers.
8. Platform Limitations
Velzo is a facilitator platform. We are not liable for:
The quality or outcome of any service provided by a vendor.
Personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from vendor or client actions.
However, we take user safety seriously and will assist with dispute resolution where possible.
9. Dispute Resolution
If any dispute arises between a client and vendor, Velzo will review the complaint and mediate in good faith to achieve a fair resolution.
For unresolved issues, Nigerian law will govern, and disputes may be settled through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Velzo platform — including text, graphics, logos, and designs — remains the property of Velzo and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written consent.
11. Privacy Policy
Your use of Velzo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your personal data.
12. Changes to These Terms
Velzo may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised date. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
